I’m intrigued by this article on ZDNet about councils not responding to email. I can’t say it surprises me. So, this weeks homework, email your local council and ask them this question: ‘Can you please tell me what the Freedom of Information Act is and what it can help me to do?’

It will be interesting to see who does / doesn’t respond - and also to find out how FOI is being interpreted….
