voting, elections, have your say…
Great picture in this weeks New Scientist (22 May) – technology being taken into rural India for the recent elections – on elephants. Estimated that 650 million people used e-voting, and it was more successful than the elections in the USA ( oh, what a surprise…).
On the same subject I quite liked the idea of going to the next Dublin Core meeting and presenting the paper on ‘Metadata, e-Government and the language of Democracy’, then I realised the venue was in Shanghai….mmmm – wonder whether I’ll get the invite?
