According to the Gruaniad today, the UK government has pledged £15 million to the disaster victims in South East Asia.

To put this in perspective, that’s about 9 times *LESS* than was spent on the LIBRA government IT project which went £134 million over budget

and was described as ‘one of the worst IT projects ever seen’

Perhaps someone could add ‘joined up compassion’ to the Gershon review.
