Despite the BBC weather website having a nice yellow sun for most of today, since mid day the clouds have been flying over at an increasing pace and getting greyer, darker and dirtier. Now have a sporadic gale force wind.

Internet has been a great source of news since Saturday - even to the detail of where individual water tanks are (although most people can see them from their house).

Not so sure what people without the internet do as there have been no leaflets (that I’ve seen) to explain what is happening.

As the electricity has been cut off in some areas and is still intermittent or not available in others, I’m wondering what the best set up for internet access is for that possibility.

Now surely one of the questions must be - is this to do with global warming? Is this the weather for Britain in the foreseeable future?
