a good reason to use metadata
Following on from the last post about IPR and copyright, it occured to me today that this is a good reason for creating metadata *before* a resource is created.
For example, if a metadata application profile is created at the beginning of a project - website, database etc - then everyone can agree at the beginning who has the copyright, whether it is copyleft, whether it is an open product or whatever. At least that way there is less falling out at the end.
