Went to the e-gov EXPO yesterday at the Barbican. While I was in the middle of doing the second workshop we were running, it suddenly occured to me that I had spent the lunch break with people from Lewisham Council who have been working on the ENCORE project .

In mid-sentence it struck me that Lewisham has possibly got the cleanest streets in London - fly tipping, rubbish etc is collected swiftly and mercilessly. Persistent offenders caught and prosecuted. And all without CRM. So how do they do that then?

Make note to self to do further research. Lewisham have yet to go down the CRM route, but have good service delivery, and in terms of environmental services really do have excellent services.
