Back from Grasmere where we’ve spent a couple of days hiking. Our main task was Helm’s Crag, along the ridge and back down via Easdale Tarn. Fantastic weather and despite it still being April we all got sunburned.

Putting the finishing touches to an article on e-gov blogs and came across Cybersoc which has a link to Flickr , which in turn has a good reason for adding metadata to images - if you add a keyword (or keywords) it is easy to find them.

In this instance the category is ‘urbandecay’ and this leads me in to yet another point about user-focused e-government; do the keywords developed for e-government projects reflect the language of the users, or the language of council officers?
