Traffic chaos on the local streets as the so-called developers close a major road in and out of town. Is it possible to get an answer from the local council as to when this might be resolved? (or why the developers were allowed to close a road in the first place - you may have visions of giant skyscraper - wrong - very small block of flats)?

To date I’ve sent 4 emails, 3 letters done on word processor (Open Office) (via email) and one hand written letter (to newly elected local councillor). Plus I used the www.councillor.gov.uk site to send emails to my existing local councillors. Has anyone bothered to reply? No. Apart from the hand written letter. Delivered by hand. The councillor came round the next day.

What possible conclusion can be made from this in the brave new world of e-democracy?
