I’ve been catching up on New Scientist and came across an article from 27 November which describes the growth of blogging in China, the attempt by the authorities to control internet access through the Great Firewall, how words such as ‘truth’ and ‘dictatorship’ are banned (!) and how Chinese people subvert this by finding alternative words.
