Information management is now being replaced by the much more fancy sounding ‘information governance’. As I’m in the process of working on an ‘Information Governance Toolkit, I thought I’d have a look at what’s being said on blogs about this http://www.technorati.com/ , blogsearch .

Some quick, off the top of the head observations based on the way I use the internet:

First thing that strikes is the number of companies which are now producing blogs. The second is that I prefer the google interface to technorati, which means I am more likely to use it. Thirdly, I need to sit down and assess which of the two search methods is more productive. Fouth, even if there are other blog search tools I am unlikely to spend much time looking for them.
