How can a glorified CRM system cost over £250,000,000? In fact double,nay treble ? ? ?

There are a number of issues here:

1. The total cost of the system

2. The fact that the job centres have had to revert to paper…

…and 3. that this new system is calculated to shed up to 40,000 jobs.

Presumably all those who lose their jobs will then be forced to use the new system to claim their benefits?
