I really would like to know how much ‘windows installer’ and various other buggy MS applications and software have cost the UK economy.

In case you really want to know, the only way I’ve got round the Windows installer problem is to do a system restore. Now however, my printer won’t work, so I’m having to re-install all the software for that.
