I hope that who ever is working on the latest version of IPSV (Integrated Public Sector Vocabulary) ensures that there is a good synonym relationship between ‘effeciencies’ and ‘bullshit’.

For example, in today’s Guardian we have a story about hospital closures on one page, and how the government is giving more millions of pounds to iSoft, the pathetic software company which is absorbing huge amounts of public money and producing very little in return.

Giving iSoft an extra £82 million pounds will generate £20 million pounds worth of effiecencies. “Ms Hewitt said the upfront payments were in exchange for a £20m saving to the NHS over three years”. Who makes this nonsense up? Oh, the Health Secretary. What a moron.
