Reading, among other things, ‘Managing Records - A Handbook of Principles and Practices’ by Elizabeth Shepherd and Geoffrey Yeo. What is immediately striking after a few pages is that the quality of writing that has been through a publishing process is often very much higher than so much of the dross that appears on the web. Yeah, plenty of quantity - there are currently 5,510,000 results for “records management” on Gruggle - but this one book has all I need to know.

Long live the book!
