Gave up trying to find the Oyster card. There is still unfiled paper that it might be lying inside. There are hundreds of books on the shelves, it might have got muddled up with them. So went to buy a new one at Chancery Lane underground.

The London Underground ticket man said ‘you can register it… take one of those (word I can’t hear) forms’

‘A blue form?’

‘No, a mmmm form’

‘Sorry, what sort of form?

‘A pink one, you know, the tarty looking one’.

And he’s right. It does look tarty. I’m glad someone is trying to talk the language of the users.
