A search in Google for ‘Richard Wagner’ produces 1,810,000 results. But what’s at result 750,000? Well I don’t think it’s possible to find out. Having nothing better to do on a cold afternoon I get clicking on the ‘next’ link to see what happens. At result number 846 I’m asked if I want to repeat the search without omiting the results which are similar. So I do. But even this only lets me click up to result number 999.

So what’s the point of the 1,810,000? You can’t actually get to them, should you have the time or the inclination to want to do so.
