It would be really useful to have the ability to set a filter on a web browser which would not show particular urls if the user no longer wanted to see them.

I’m thinking in particular of those boring sites which set out to present masses of information and instead are vehicles for groogle ads. Or sites allegedly about holidays which are so peculiar to try and use that it’s just a wasted effort. Or sites pretending to offer technical advice but not doing so.
