It’s interesting to work out what constitutes expert view; opinion; bigotry; prejudice. Some things are clearly wrong, no matter how many people express them as the truth.

In terms of ‘consulting’ about ‘information management’ there are some things that:

- need consulting on
- research
- surveys
- user testing

(and they are all different)

and there are some things which require an expert view.

It’s important to know which technique fits which requirement.
