Ah, holidays. Been sorting out all the vinyl accumulated during that strange phase when many public libraries decided to sell off their record collections. I have pristine boxed opera sets - compete Ring Cycle conducted by Solti, Teatro alla Scala recordings, all of Mozarts operas, most of Verdi’s, Brittens; the entire works of Shostakovitch; jazz, folk recordings and even some Tanzanian music from the 1950s. Why did they sell all this stuff?

Also went to visit Chipchase Castle.
