I have something called an ‘eFilm’ multi-card reader. I bought this because I could never get the software for my digital camera to work properly. Now the reader has stopped working. At least the cable is still ok - that can be plugged straight into camera and used to download images.

A quick search on the internet reveals

i) a whole legion of people who cannot get the software of their digital cameras to work properly

ii) a host of people who have multi-card readers which ‘just stopped working’
