technologies and the ability to listen
Amazing how the huge development in communication technologies hasn’t improved some people’s ability to listen.
Have phone conversation with someone during the week to explain can’t come to a meeting. It happens to us all at times surely?
Get email from said person, of course copied into a whole number of people who don’t need to know anything about it, asking me to confirm attendance.
It shouldn’t be, but it’s surprisingly irritating - not just the refusal to listen to what’s being clearly stated (and the reasons), but also that a very senior person gets copied in.
