Went to a meeting on Monday where someone said that arrest referral workers who have to go to Paddington Green police station find they have problems using their laptops with 3G cards to connect to the internet.

By chance I was passing said police station on Tuesday morning so took this picture (which I’ll post later - currently using wi-fi in St Paul’s churchyard).

Just made me pause for thought as I walked past in the early morning as London slowly woke up, that the state has enormous power to simply switch off all the networks that we increasingly take for granted.

Darn…here goes the laptop battery again…
