Bishopgate Institute
Spent some of yesterday in the rather wonderful library at the Bishopgate Institute . A relatively unknown London treasure.
Internet access is one pound an hour. There’s no wi-fi access but the staff were very helpful and let me plug my laptop into the extension lead which goes to the photocopier.
Plus, it’s possible to access webmail - something which is beyond the British Library.
It’s also possible to access a blog, write an entry, but unfortunately not to post.
My biggest regret however is that I didn’t get their earlier as there had been a book sale at lunchtime - only the remnants were left - so only managed to add one new item to the library at home.
