We live in a country with higher levels of survelliance than just about anywhere else; civil liberties are eroded because of the ‘war on terrorism’. So why has yet another data loss been announced? This time with details of 600,000 people - held on a laptop by the ‘Ministry of Defence’. That ‘defence’ doesn’t then include cyberwarfare or electronic terrorism?
