I feel there is a tendency in some quarters to treat these two areas as separated by impenetrable barriers. ‘We are the security experts, legal experts, records managements experts’ or whatever. And we are right.

I am sure that north east London has an information sharing protocol. That’s a great piece of information governance. But trying finding it on the internet. It’s now taken me half an hour and I’m no closer to finding what I’m looking for. That’s very poor information management.
