Amazingly my old scanner (well old in modern technical terms -it’s about 3-4 years ‘old’) works with Vista. Someone in Microsoft must have overlooked this possibility.

What I’ve noticed on the update to the scanner software is that once the image has been scanned and accepted, there’s an option to add ‘keywords’. Slowly but surely, metadata is going to take over the internet…
